How many years have you been riding?
I started in 99 with snakeboard and in 2003 with streetboard.

Street or ramp?
Both, but I have no ramps on my city now so Street or die.
Who do you ride with?
When i was living in Buenos Aires I skate a lot with Pipo Grosso, but right now I’m the only streetboarder in my city.
Where do you see the sport going in Argentina?
The sport has been in Argetina  since 94 and there have always been good riders here It was  super cool when Grosso started to buid boards , pushing the riders’ skating, there are  many riders with a sick level, mostly street riders. But there is no sponsorship for good riders here and that’s a big problem. Also Grosso is not building more boards so I`m fucked.

So Max, How does it feel to be World Champion again?

Its good, last year was a total fail with the broken leg and the year before that I got my ass handed to me…so its good to know im not all done at 22 haha

You seemed pretty focused on winning it again, what does it mean to you?

I havent really been doing much the past few years, I tried to make skating a priority which is hard given the fact that all us riders still work full time, but I feel like it paid off.  Streetboarding is a major part of my life because I have invested so much time in it.

Winning wasnt important until I won the first time. Now I want to win to prove I can maintain that level. It sounds very militant…but its good fun.

Now that you’ve retained your crown, what are you going to do with the rest of the year?

Im going to cooking school to become a chef which should be awesome.  Apart from that carry on skating and working. Ive been working on a part in the chemical boards video coming out this autumn so im looking forward to seeing how it turns out.

Thanks Max, now I know you’re about to go skate so get outta here.
